One injured worker’s perspective

Produced by Joseph Angier

James Franklin is a locksmith in Palm Desert. When he injured his hands and arms on the job, he was no longer able to work. After more than a year since his injury and a settlement that he says is unfair, he’s running out of money while he waits for his lawsuit to be settled. Franklin explains how easy it can be for workers to get lost in the system.
