Kids for Real: Uninsured Child

Nearly one million children in California are without health insurance. Only ten percent of these uninsured girls and boys are eligible for public assistance. To understand what being uninsured means for a family struggling to make ends meet, we visit a doctor’s office where a child with a chronic ear infection has to face the grief of feeling guilty…for being sick.
