Greetings from Boyle Heights

More than 100 murals grace the Boyle Heights neighborhood. The most famous are the murals of the Estrada Courts, between 3200 and 3300 Olympic Blvd. As Lisa McRee writes in her blog, they are “very different and telling murals that depict the past, present and future of Latino life.”

The murals include “Dreams of Flight” by David Botello, “Two Flags” by Sonny Ramirez and “The Sun Bathers” by Gil Hernandez.
