Los Angeles is the car-chase capital of the world. More pursuits happen here than anywhere else on the planet. On average, 16 people run from police in Los Angeles County every day.
So what is it about Los Angelinos that leads them to run? And why do Los Angelinos love to watch?

If the person that Matt Johnson loved more than anyone in the world was one of the innocent victims of a police pursuit and died, I’m positive that he would no longer view it as entertainment. These people who get so turned on by this that they get alerts on their cell phones are really sick. And what does that say about the news media that feeds their sickness?
