Authorities may be trying to make our border with Mexico more concrete with a wall, but in reality, the border is much less clear cut than a line in the sand. Everyone knows about the millions of immigrants coming from Mexico to the United States, but more and more Americans are now moving across the border into Mexico. Some are older retirees setting up their idylls on the Baja coast, but a growing number are baby boomers, cashing out on the California real estate boom and seeking out cheap real estate and a laid back lifestyle south of the border.
In Baja communities like Rosarito Beach, countless developments are under construction and in planning, but will the lagging infrastructure be able to keep up or will it be crushed under the weight of hasty expansion?
