Commentary: The Lunch Lady

Go behind the scenes with Producer Angela Shelley, Associate Producer Anne Lilburn and Editor Michael Bloecher as they discuss the making of “The Lunch Lady,” California Connected’s story on Ann Cooper, a lunch lady who’s leading a revolution against typical school food.

One Response to “Commentary: The Lunch Lady”

  1. Solange Gould says:

Everytime I hear Ann Cooper speak on an interview or see her on your video, it makes me want to cry. She made such a good point on her KQED that we can’t NOT afford programs like this: When we have astronomical health care and human suffering costs to pay for the effects of obesity and poor nutrition-related disease, we will wonder why we didn’t pay the pennies it costs to feed kids healthy food.
And of course she swears in front of Hillary Clinton, Hillary is a pirate herself!
